Paintings Jan is also a painter, with pieces in private collections internationally. Traditional Greek village life is a main inspiration. Her recent series of 'yayades' (Greek grandmothers wearing black) featured on TV. In July-August 2008 Jan exhibited new works at Mytilene's Chamber of Commerce, Greece, with UK artist Ann Welch and Italian photographer Alessandra Pagani. Starting on Monday 5th January 2009 Jan will be holding classes from 2pm-4.30pm in Impressionism in Acrylics at 'Aubergine' Cafe, Skala Eressos, Lesvos, Greece. Beginners are welome. Latest news On the music side, Jan is presently rehearsing for forthcoming projects with Greek musicians. Visual-artswise, Jan is painting new works for exhibitions in summer 2009, and holding painting classes at 'Aubergine' cafe, Skala Eressos, Lesvos, Greece from 2pm-4.30pm starting Monday 5th January 2009.
